Meet Gianena Winkler

 I am dedicated to fostering strong communities through leadership, service, and common-sense decision-making. With a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Law from the University of New Mexico, I have built a career centered on teamwork, strategic problem-solving, and impactful service.

Over the past 20 years, I have held leadership positions within Fortune 500 companies, overseeing operations across more than 300 locations. My ability to cultivate high-performing teams has earned me multiple awards in team building and customer satisfaction. Additionally, I was honored by the Rainbow Coalition for my commitment to community service, particularly my work with Chicago’s Boys & Girls Clubs.

My dedication to community support extends beyond my professional experience. I provide free legal aid, tax preparation, and tutoring to families in need, as well as assist local senior citizens with computer literacy and everyday tasks. I also manage a fleet of comfort therapy dogs that provide invaluable support to first responders and veterans.

Above all, I am a devoted wife to my wonderful husband, Jason, and a proud mother of five incredible children. I am deeply committed to making a difference in our schools and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed.

I look forward to the opportunity to serve and advocate for our community, as well as collaborate with current board members to make the best decisions for parents, teachers, administrators, and taxpayers alike.
